Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service. In this role, you will support a welcoming environment through clear communication, teamwork, and integrity while bringing agility, reliability, and innovation to each shift.

Pay Rate: $18.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or team members by following security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including entrances, loading and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, helping to identify unusual activity and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with verifying authorized entry for employees, visitors, and/or vendors while following site protocols for deliveries, shipments, and restricted areas.
• Support loss prevention and operational goals by observing for suspicious behavior, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and completing required reports related to security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
