The University of Kansas Health System- St. Francis i s thriving, growing, and hiring a new full-time, inpatient/outpatient  PM&R physician  to join our comprehensive rehabilitation services team in beautiful Topeka, Kansas. Whether you're a seasoned provider or a recent graduate, you'll thrive in a supportive environment with mentorship from experienced physicians.
A physiatrist who is flexible and responsible will thrive in this team-oriented clinic team proud of its open communication, accountability amongst staff and providers, and relaxed atmosphere. About Your Work: 

• Enjoy working in the inpatient/outpatient settings
• Full-Time Employment (1.0 FTE)
• Inpatient and Outpatient Setting 
• General PM&R
• Join an employed practice that includes a physiatrist, PA, and support staff.
• Inpatient: 36-bed unit which offers comprehensive services including PT/OT/ST along with certified rehab nursing, diabetes educators, dieticians,  psychological services, pharmacists, social workers, and extensive team of specialists .
• Joint Commission Stroke and Parkinson's Disease Certified
• On-Site Procedure Room; EMG is performed in the clinic 
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, with 4 hours dedicated admin time
• Clinic Schedule is Flexible with Hospital Rounding
• Daily Patient Load: 20-25
• Clinic Call: Light Call- no evenings/no weekends
• Hospital Call: 1-2 weekends/mo
• Smart Technology: See more patients without extending your day. Our providers use Epic EMR and Ambience AI scribe technology to automate documentation, reduce administrative burden, improve patient flow, and ensure accurate coding-leading to better work-life balance and revenue

Minimum Qualifications:

• ABPMR board-certified or eligible
• Both experienced and graduating physiatrists are welcome to apply
