Warehouse Associate 1st Shift

Position Overview: Ryder is immediately hiring full–time Warehouse Associates in Franklin, Indiana. Pay & Schedule Hourly Pay: $18.00 per hour Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7 am to 3:30 pm Payments are made weekly. Product and Equipment Products: HVAC products Equipment: Computer, RF scanner Additional equipment may include powered industrial trucks, packaging lines, etc. Benefits Weekly pay Safety gear provided State‑of‑the‑art equipment and caring leadership Requirements High school diploma or equivalent preferred Six months of related warehouse experience required; one year or more preferred Ability to operate powered industrial truck(s) such as forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks; knowledge of maintenance (battery change, mechanical issues) Ability to operate manual and/or automated warehouse equipment (e.g., packaging line) preferred Powered industrial truck certification Reading and basic mathematics proficiency in English for safety and work instructions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted Data entry into WMS computer system Willingness to work overtime as assigned Ability to build professional relationships at all levels Teamwork and independent work capability Flexibility and self‑driven motivation in a fast‑paced environment Excellent organization, time‑management, multi‑tasking, and follow‑up skills Responsibilities Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials. Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; complete scanning; assist dock employees; secure the facility at shift end; investigate and resolve scanning and housekeeping issues. Perform picking and packing duties; check for product or container damage. Follow location policies and procedures for material handling. Perform material moves with associated transactions. Participate in workgroup and team activities for continuous improvement. Maintain housekeeping of the assigned area. Perform other duties as assigned.
