Job Summary The Executive Housekeeper oversees the cleanliness of the hotel, ensuring safety, security, and inventory control while providing training and maintaining high standards of service. This role operates in a fast‑paced environment and is responsible for budgeting, scheduling, and maintaining excellent customer service. Job Responsibilities Prepare a monthly forecast for the Housekeeping Department and plan work schedules and room assignments. Participate in recruiting, selection, and performance evaluation of team members, providing performance appraisals and maintaining personnel records. Supervise and provide essential training for new hires in housekeeping and guest services. Conduct guest satisfaction inspections of public areas and guest rooms to ensure standards. Assist with the preparation of the annual budget, manage expenses, and control supplies and chemicals. Track lost and found items and process guest complaints, and conduct meetings with team members as needed. Ensure uniforms meet company expectations and uniforms presentability. Maintain high safety and cleanliness standards, assist with emergency procedures, promote safety practices, and monitor preventive maintenance. Perform other tasks as necessary to meet or exceed guest satisfaction. Professional Experience High‑school graduate or equivalent, with a minimum of one year of executive hospitality experience (preferred). Industry Experience Previous experience in the hospitality industry (preferred). Previous experience as an Executive Housekeeper (preferred). Required Skills Ability to follow directions and delegate in a fast‑paced environment. Additional training as required. Flexible to work varied schedules. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Ability to listen attentively. Physical ability to walk, bend, and stand for long periods. Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. Adherence to grooming and appearance standards in alignment with uniform. Essential Skills Ability to express compassion while remaining composed under pressure. Ability to promote the property by demonstrating a "top‑notch" attitude toward guests and anticipating their needs.
