Quick Look ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, PACU (Evening Shift) in Teaneck, New Jersey. Location Teaneck, NJ Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule/Shift This position requires working a 10-hour evening shift from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM. There is a weekend call coverage requirement of one weekend per contract, and workers should expect to work some holidays. Job Description The Registered Nurse in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients recovering from anesthesia. This role involves monitoring patient vitals, managing pain control, and ensuring a safe and smooth recovery process. The Registered Nurse will utilize paper charting and maintain accurate patient records throughout the shift. Responsibilities Monitor patients' vital signs and recovery status. Administer medications and manage pain control as prescribed. Ensure the safety and comfort of patients post-surgery. Document all patient care information accurately using paper charting. Communicate effectively with other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care. Required Experience Active NJ License or Compact license in hand at submission. ACLS and BLS certifications required. Previous charge experience is preferred.
