2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Job Title: Trust and Estates Legal Assistant Location: Detroit, MI Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Trust and Estates Legal Assistant with 4+ years of experience to join their legal team in Detroit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trust and estates law and excellent organizational skills. Key Responsibilities: Provide administrative and legal support to trust and estates attorneys. Draft and review wills, trusts, and estate planning documents. Conduct legal research and assist in case preparation. Maintain and organize case files and documents. Prepare correspondence and court forms. Schedule court dates, appointments, and meetings. Communicate with clients and other parties. Assist in trial preparation and support during court proceedings. Qualifications: Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Legal Assistant in trust and estates law. Strong understanding of trust and estates procedures and litigation processes. Excellent legal research, writing, and organizational skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Strong attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information.
