Power Electronics Engineer – High Power AC/DC (kW–MW), On-site FremontPhD requiredOur client is big in the development of power solutions for data centers that support emerging AI technologies.As a result, they need to quickly identify and attract top level talent to assist them as a Power Electronics Engineer.This job will be based in Fremont CA (relocation is available) and should pay $175K to $225K as a base salary. PhD is required. advanced development and platform-level R&D for high-power AC/DC power conversion systems spanning single-phase and three-phase solutions from several kW up to MW-class. Note: This role is focused on R&D / prototype / reference design work and does not own production ramp, manufacturing support, or sustaining engineering.You will be involved inPrototype & Advanced Development (no production ownership)Customer Engagement & Technical Support (U.S. customers)Global CollaborationREQUIREMENTSPh.D. in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Power Conversion/Drives, or a related field is preferred; candidates with a Master degree and 3+ years of relevant experience will also be considered.Strong fundamentals in power electronics with proven hands-on lab capabilityExperience designing, testing, or debugging high-power converters (AC/DC and/or DC/DC and/or inverter/rectifier experience acceptable).Comfortable with engaging customers in technical discussions and communicating clearly in a professional setting.
