Job Summary:
Seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to develop and implement rehabilitative programs aimed at enhancing patient mobility, reducing pain, and restoring functional abilities. The role involves working closely with patients, families, and healthcare teams to deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care in an acute hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and monitor progress throughout therapy.
• Administer therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and optimize recovery outcomes.
• Document treatment sessions accurately in electronic health records such as Epic, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Maintain current certifications, licenses, and training, including BLS and PT license, meeting all accreditation standards.
• Adhere to safety, privacy, and compliance standards in all patient interactions and clinical procedures.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active State License as a Physical Therapist at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 2 years acute care hospital experience, with proficiency in charting and Epic EHR systems.
• BLS certification, AHA approved, required and must be current at the time of submittal.
• Demonstrate strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work weekends and float as required, including Sundays.
• Must be willing to travel within 50 miles and provide current certifications and background clearances.
