Nurse - OTP/MAT Chiefland

Position Title: Nurse - OTP/MAT - LPN/ RN Location: Chiefland, FL About the Role As the RN/LPN, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the operational excellence and strategic direction of Meridian. You will: Perform initial physical assessments and ongoing re-assessments. Assess and collect data to determine client stability, safety, and pain status on admission. Integrate assessment findings with previously reported or documented information to determine changes in the client's status. Recognize interrelationships between assessment findings, medications, and lab findings. Initiate Treatment Plan and Nursing Care Plan. Incorporate client, family/significant other, developmental and age-appropriate needs. Initiate, verify, and carry out physician orders, transcribing to the Medication Administration Record as appropriate. Assume leadership role in crisis or emergency situations. Identify unexpected responses to treatment or other alterations in client condition that require treatment and communicate with the appropriate physician. Work with Nurse Manager and HR Staffing to provide appropriate staffing based on census and acuity. Qualifications Clear and active license to practice as an RN/LPN in the State of Florida. Experience in an inpatient psychiatric unit preferred. Must be able to type at least 27 wpm on prescreen assessment and score at least 65% on general assessment.
