AI and Machine Learning Lead - VP (Global AI)

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

• Masters degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or Machine Learning, with at least 7 years of software development experience, including 4 or more years building AI solutions.
• Experience applying LLMs, such as OpenAI or Anthropic models, to business problems, including workflow tools for tracing, evaluation, and guardrails.
• Strong Python programming skills and in-depth knowledge of data structures, algorithms, machine learning, data mining, information retrieval, and statistics.
• Ability to independently design end-to-end solutions with attention to modern architecture, scalability, and security.
• Knowledge of data management and data model design, plus real-time processing using SQL databases such as Postgres and NoSQL stores such as OpenSearch and Redis.
• Demonstrated leadership in generating AI/ML ideas and developing GenAI solutions, with excellent communication skills for working with senior technical and business partners.
• Experience in financial services, particularly Asset and Wealth Management, brokerage, or investment banking, is an advantage.
• Familiarity with LLM fine-tuning and small language model inference is a plus.
• Ability to build full-stack products using modern JavaScript and TypeScript frameworks such as Next.js or Svelte is beneficial.
• Knowledge of high-performance languages such as Go or Rust is beneficial.
• Expertise in a cloud computing platform, preferably AWS or Azure; Kubernetes experience is also beneficial.

• Partner with firmwide AI/ML teams, business and product partners, distributed colleagues, and teams across Asset and Wealth Management to align efforts, encourage adoption of shared AI capabilities, and deliver impactful solutions.
• Lead hands-on architecture and implementation of flagship machine learning and LLM-powered solutions.
• Design and build scalable, reliable data-processing pipelines and deploy model inference services.
• Experiment with, develop, and productionize high-quality machine learning models, services, and platforms.
• Deploy solutions to public cloud infrastructure.
