QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer with a strong background in Python to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance and automation testing, with a proven track record of developing and implementing automated test scripts. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently and collaboratively in a remote work environment.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and create test plans.
• Execute automated tests and analyze results to ensure software quality.
• Identify, document, and track defects using appropriate tools.
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability and quality.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in QA automation.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong proficiency in Python programming.
• Experience with automation testing frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Pytest).
• Solid understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Ability to write clear and concise test cases and documentation.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter).
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing environments.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of experience in QA automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Self-motivated with a strong attention to detail.
