You can accrue up to 56 hours per year which will roll over each year until your sick bank reaches 480 hours. You are eligible to receive vested vacation hours. These hours are available to you on January 1 st following your date of hire. You are eligible for non-revenue/space available (NRSA) travel privileges after completing six active months of service. You are eligible for a variety of leaves of absence including medical leave, non-medical leave for the care of a family member, maternity leave, paternity leave, personal leave, etc. Specific information regarding Contour Airlines’ leave of absence policy is outlined in our Employee Handbook which will be provided to you during the onboarding process should you be selected for employment. Additional information: The starting hourly rate for this position is between $26.00 and $36.00 depending on your prior work experience. Based on your performance, you are eligible to receive a step increase of $1.00 each year based on your pay anniversary date until you reach $41.00. Once you have reached the maximum pay rate, you are eligible to receive a retention bonus of up to $2,000.00 each year. When you work in excess of 40 hours within the pay period, you are eligible for overtime which is paid at 1.5 times your hourly rate. When you work on a Contour Airlines observed holiday, you are eligible to receive holiday pay which is paid at 2 times your hourly rate. Summary of Essential Duties: Perform overhauls or repairs on a wide variety of different airframe components. Troubleshoot and assist in repairing/inspecting different airframe components. Utilize and consistently learn new procedures on approved overhaul/repairs. Work as a team player and assist co-workers as needed. Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management. Qualifications Be at least 18 years of age. Must have a valid driver's license Be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel in and out of the United States Must have experience and be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook inventory software, and tracking systems Prior experience with Component Controls Quantum software preferred Able to pass a required 10-year work history review and submit to criminal history records check Must pass a DOT required pre-employment drug screen and willing to submit to and pass FAA and Company mandated random drug and alcohol tests Possess polished and professional interpersonal skills with a positive attitude and a customer-oriented mindset. Possess strong leadership, interpersonal and organizational skills. Must have well-developed people skills and ability to work with a variety of personalities. Able to coordinate multiple priorities and meet deadlines. Able to handle interruptions and a fast paced environment. Maintain strong attention to detail. Be self-motivated and able to motivate others Excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously Excellent communication skills both written and verbal delivered with tact and professionalism. Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously. Component aircraft experience preferred, but not essential. Previous mechanic experience required. A&P Mechanic license helpful, but not required. Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including OSHA, EPA, state, and federal regulations Physical Requirements: Lift at least 50 lbs. Routine walking, bending and squatting or sitting. Routing or repetitive physical motion with arms and hands.
