Operating Room Nurse

Location: Plano, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: W-F 11A-11P with 5-6 call shifts per month. Call options available are 11P-7A M-Th or 7P-7A Sunday night.

Job Description: The Operating Room Nurse will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the operating room setting. This role requires collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team and the ability to manage various surgical procedures, including orthopedic, neuro, robotics, and trauma cases.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patients' vital signs and administer medications as needed.
• Assist with surgical procedures and ensure a sterile environment.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff.
• Provide post-operative care and education to patients and families.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Must have RN license.
• Experience in Orthopedics, Neuro/Spine, or Robotics preferred.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required.
