07:00 AM to 07:00 PM, 3 shifts per week, with 4 weekend shifts required every 4‑week schedule. Job Description We are seeking a qualified Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join our team. This role requires a commitment to providing high‑quality care to our patients in the labor and delivery unit. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in obstetrical nursing and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities Provide care to patients during labor and delivery, including antepartum and postpartum support. Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal wellbeing. Assist in vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, and epidural placements. Interpret fetal monitoring strips and manage complications as they arise. Administer medications as prescribed, including nitrous oxide and IV fluids. Prepare delivery tables and assist in newborn care and stabilization. Participate in patient education and support through the childbirth process. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Valid RN licensure. BLS, ACLS, NRP certifications. Labor and delivery experience is essential. Knowledge of common obstetrical medications and complications. Experience in PACU recovery for spinal anesthesia is preferred. Ability to perform IV insertion, lab draws, and blood administration.
