Staff Accountant

Title: Staff Accountant Reports To: Controller Supervisory Responsibilities: None Exempt ( ) Non-Exempt ( x ) 5 days per week, fully on-site role This position is designed to provide general accounting support including monthly closing, financial statement preparation and bank account reconciliation. Essential Duties And Responsibilities Prepare monthly closing entries and accruals Prepare or review various GL reconciliations Maintain fixed asset accounting records Prepare and complete monthly and annual financial reports in a timely manner Reconcile and analyze intercompany transactions Reconcile monthly bank statements Process weekly invoices Prepare bank deposits as required Non-essential Duties And Responsibilities Performs all related duties as assigned Qualification Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field required, or equivalent combination of education and experience Must have solid accounting theory background Must have at least 3-5 years’ experience in related field Requires strong computer literacy skills, advanced Excel skills and competency in basic Microsoft Office programs Excellent oral and written communication skills Must know how to set priorities to meet deadlines Must be accurate and detail oriented Must have initiative, enthusiasm and self-motivation Timberline and Sage fixed asset software experience preferred How We Support You Health benefits for you and your family, including medical/dental/vision additional health benefits include life, long term disability, FSA or HSA and 401(k) Vacation and sick time along with 11 paid holidays and annually designated employee appreciation days A diverse team of coworkers that care about each other in a fun, exciting work environment Pay Transparency Disclosure: The pay scale for this position is $36.00-$40.00 per hour. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data.
