Travel RN - Labor & DeliveryAmerican Traveler is hiring an RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring a CT or compact RN license and 2+ years of current L&D experience.Delivery Room department within a hospital settingResponsible for intermittent electronic fetal monitoring (EFM) and interpretation of fetal heart rate tracings (Category I-III)Manages spontaneous vaginal deliveries and assisted birthsManages high-risk labor cases including IUGR, preeclampsia, and gestational diabetesPerforms induction and augmentation of labor including Pitocin protocols and cervical ripening agentsPerforms amnioinfusion proceduresServes as C-section circulator and manages surgical patientsNight shift, 7:00 PM-7:30 AM, 12.5-hour shiftsRequires 3 weekend shifts per 4-week scheduleFloating to Maternity, Pediatrics, and NICU as neededActive CT or compact RN licenseBLS and ACLS certification (AHA only)NRP-Advanced certificationAWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required (Advanced EFM not accepted)NCC C-EFM certification required within one year of first assignment2+ years of current labor and delivery experience requiredTwo professional references from a manager or above, from the current discipline/specialty within the prior yearHoliday coverage required per facility scheduleLocal candidates within 60 miles accepted at a reduced rateCandidates with prior work history at Northwell or Nuvance Health locations are subject to an eligibility review process before being consideredUses Kronos for timekeepingC-EFM certification on day one is strongly preferred
