Job Summary And Qualifications As a PRN Interventional Radiology Technologist, you will assist physicians with minimally invasive procedures and provide diagnostic aid by using fluoroscopic equipment to conduct scans on patients. Responsibilities include: Prepare equipment, monitor inventory, maintain the cleanliness of the procedure room and work area. Render patient care professionally, explain procedures, perform physical assessments, and monitor IVs, catheters, tubing. Assist the radiologist in administering medications and contrast agents intravenously. Maintain sterile technique during Interventional Radiology procedures. Real‑time review of scans for technical accuracy. Complete verification in PACS in a timely manner. Qualifications Graduate of an AMA approved program. Registered Radiologic Technologist with ARRT. Basic Cardiac Life Support obtained within 30 days of employment start. Ability to perform Interventional Procedures. Effective communication and teamwork skills in a service line environment. Two years’ experience as a Radiology Technologist. Portsmouth Regional Hospital is a premier 234‑bed acute care facility serving Massachusetts, Maine, and New Hampshire.
