Distribution Associate

Job Title: Distribution Associate Location: Four Oaks, NC 27524 Pay Rate: $17.00/hour Duration: 12+ Months Schedule: Monday Friday, 6:00 AM 2:00 PM Overtime: Moderate overtime may be required based on operational needs. Job Summary The Distribution Associate is responsible for warehouse and material distribution activities, including processing customer orders, picking and packing products, palletizing shipments, and preparing orders for shipment. Important Requirements: Previous experience operating a pallet jack is required . Experience with Material Handling Equipment (MHE) is preferred. High School Diploma or GED is preferred but not required. A 10-panel drug screen is required and must be completed within 48 hours of accepting the job offer. Key Responsibilities Process customer orders by scanning barcodes, picking cases, and labeling boxes. Pick, scan, and palletize completed orders. Use RF scanners/technology to process warehouse orders. Verify order accuracy and properly package shipments. Scan completed pallets and operate a shrink wrapper when required. Perform dock manifest and ground/manual manifest duties as needed. Learn other warehouse functions and provide backup support during employee absences or vacations. Follow warehouse safety and operational procedures. Required Skills & Qualifications Previous pallet jack operation experience Required . Ability to obtain electric pallet jack certification. Ability to operate MHE and use RF scanning equipment. Ability to read and interpret distribution documents. Basic organizational, analytical, and prioritization skills. General knowledge of warehouse/distribution operations. Approximately 1 year of relevant warehouse/distribution experience is preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to walk, stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, reach, push/pull, grasp, and perform repetitive hand and wrist movements. Ability to lift 50+ lbs. in some areas. Ability to work around and safely operate material handling equipment. Ability to climb occasionally when required. Must have sufficient vision and hearing to safely perform warehouse and MHE-related duties. Work Environment Warehouse/distribution environment with moderate to loud noise levels. Regular exposure to moving mechanical equipment. May involve temperature changes, fumes, airborne particles, and other warehouse-related conditions.
