Job Description
As a Warehouse Worker, you will play a vital role in managing operations within stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards. Your main responsibilities will include receiving and counting stock items, recording data manually or through computer systems, and ensuring proper stocking, maintenance, and organization of items. You will verify inventory computations, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate records of stock use or damage. Your role is essential in promoting effective security operations to protect people, data, and property within the organization.
Responsibilities

• Receive and count stock items accurately.
• Record data manually or using computer systems.
• Ensure proper stocking, maintenance, and organization of items.
• Verify inventory computations and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of stock use or damage.
• Promote effective security operations within the organization.

Essential Skills

• Ability to use identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
• Proficiency in inventory management software for recording and tracking stock.
• Experience in maintaining supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Team player with attention to detail.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Experience tracking inventory in a warehouse environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Material handling.
• Experience with pallet jack, warehouse forklift, inventory, picking, packing, and stock room tasks.
• General labor skills.
• Proficiency with RF scanner.
• Experience in loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving.
• Forklift operating skills.
• Experience in warehouse inventory management.
• Skills in pick, packaging, warehouse packing, labeling, shipping, and receiving.

Work Environment
This position involves working in a standard warehouse environment with a first shift schedule from 7am to 4pm. The role requires handling various warehouse equipment and tools, ensuring a safe and organized workplace.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Greenfield, IN.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $17.89 - $19.00/hr.
