Junior Design Engineer

As a Junior Design Engineer, you'll work alongside experienced engineers and project managers on a variety of land development projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional looking to build technical expertise while gaining hands‑on project experience. What You'll Do Assist with the planning and design of residential, commercial, industrial, and mixed‑use land development projects. Prepare engineering plans, grading plans, utility layouts, stormwater management designs, and construction details under the guidance of licensed Professional Engineers. Develop and modify engineering drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D and AutoCAD. Research municipal ordinances, zoning regulations, and applicable local and state design standards. Compile project data, mapping, and site information to support project planning and design. Participate in site visits, field investigations, and project meetings. Assist with permit applications, technical reports, calculations, and supporting documentation. Coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary design teams to help deliver high‑quality projects on schedule. Support the preparation and review of site plan and subdivision applications. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited college or university. 0–2 years of relevant engineering experience (internships and co‑op experience are encouraged). Engineer‑in‑Training (EIT) certification is preferred but not required. Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D is preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple assignments and priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
