Assist licensed physical therapists in implementing patient treatment plans to improve mobility and functional outcomes within a skilled nursing facility setting. Provide quality patient care under supervision to support rehabilitation goals. Responsibilities:
- Assist in evaluating patient conditions and gather relevant clinical information.
- Implement prescribed therapeutic interventions and exercises.
- Monitor and document patient progress and report to supervising therapists.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of treatment areas and equipment.
- Educate patients and family members on therapeutic activities and exercises.
- Hold a current Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or certification.
- Possess prior experience working in skilled nursing or rehab facilities.
- Demonstrate strong patient care and communication skills.
- Able to follow treatment plans and clinical guidelines accurately.
- Maintain current CPR and basic life support (BLS) certifications.
