Middle School Judaic Studies Teacher

Position Overview We are seeking a dynamic and growth-oriented Middle School Judaic Studies Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The ideal candidate will engage students in meaningful Jewish learning, foster critical thinking, and create a supportive and inspiring classroom environment. Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging lessons focused on Jewish texts, traditions, and values. Encourage thoughtful discussions and deeper connections to Judaic studies. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students. Collaborate with colleagues to support student learning and curriculum alignment. Communicate effectively with parents to promote student success. Manage the classroom to encourage positive behavior and engagement. Supervise students during non-instructional times. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in education, Judaic studies, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, particularly in Judaic studies. Strong knowledge of Jewish history, texts, and traditions. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Compensation Competitive salary commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with benefits. Currently, we do not offer sponsorships.
