Starts after your first 30 days!Supplemental Insurance Options – Access Accident, Critical Illness, Disability, and Supplemental Life coverage.FREE Life Insurance – Coverage equal to your annualized pay at no cost to you.401(k) Retirement Plan – Secure your future with a 50% match on the first 6% of your contributions.Generous Time Off – Recharge with 7 paid holidays, and Paid Time Off (PTO)Extra Perks - Discounts on Travel, Auto, Food and many more.ResponsibilitiesActive participation in recruiting and hiring of Technicians.Responsible for supervision and development of technician workforce.Assist the Operating Manager with forecasting the company's needs of Technicians and hire appropriately to the needsEnsure Technician productivity meets or exceeds goals set at their review or during the hiring processEnsure the market maintains a work level to support the Technicians (quality site surveys, sales, etc.)Handle escalated service issues that are field/technician relatedDevelop training plan for all assigned Technicians using Company training materialsResponsible for technical support and quality of work for the areaPerform ride along with TechniciansEvaluate and perform annual Technician reviews with VPs approvalBe a positive image and role model to Technician groupProtect the company's image, appearance and reputationAlways be the example of safetyEnforce company policiesMaintain local customer relationships for assigned area with RSM and Account ManagersService Meetings:Conduct weekly service meetingCommunicate the goals and objectives for assigned area, give the technicians their performance scorecard on how they are doingProvide recognition to top performersPerform inspections of all vans at all service meetings (clean, oil life, fluids full, etc.)Inspect equipment, make sure all technicians have the proper PPEDiscuss safety topics weeklyReview new customer requirementsGo over callbacks and results/additional repairs neededReceive feedback from Technicians on office scheduling/issuesQualificationsMinimum of 10 years as an HVAC Service Technician, Management experience is a plusTechnical knowledge necessary to provide value to our technicians and customersMaintain continuous education in the technical fieldMust be able to conduct professional conversation with customers and resolve concerns locally before they escalateStrong attention to detail and qualityStrong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlinesAbility to focus on desired resultsAbility to adapt to very fast-paced environment and deadlinesMaintain a clean and professional appearanceMust be able to travel as neededExperience in recruiting and hiring TechniciansWhat We're Looking ForHigh School Diploma preferredPrevious experience in HVAC Industry or other service business preferredPhysical RequirementsMust be able to lift 100 pounds.Must be able to pick up and maneuver a 32-foot ladder, which weighs approximately 96 pounds.Must not exceed ladder ratingsExtensive kneeling and squattingMust be able to climb ladders multiple timesMust be able to haul equipment and tools to roof via laddersMust be able to drive extended hours for calls. This could require up to 8-10 hours of driving time per day.
