You will influence the strategic and research direction of the Gambling Harms Research UK Evidence Centre and the GREAT Centre, engage directly with policymakers and practitioners, and produce research with real‑world impact. Hybrid working is anticipated, with fixed time spent on campus to be agreed with the postholder. Responsibilities Develop and implement research programmes on gambling and gambling harms. Influence the strategic and research direction of the national research centre. Collaborate with international researchers. Engage with policymakers and practitioners. Produce evidence‑led research with real‑world impact. Welsh Language Skills Level 1 – A little. The role holder will be able to pronounce Welsh words, answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases. Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1‑hour course.
