This role requires strong technical knowledge, the ability to work independently, and a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction.Key ResponsibilitiesInstall, repair, and maintain residential electrical systems, including wiring, panels, and breakersTroubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues efficiently and accuratelyPerform electrical upgrades such as service panel replacements, circuit additions and heavy-upEnsure all work complies with local, state, and National Electrical Code (NEC) requirementsMaintain accurate job documentation and material usage recordsFollow all company policies, safety protocols, and OSHA regulationsQualificationsValid Journeyman Electrician license (state or local)Completion of an accredited apprenticeship programMinimum 3-5 years of residential electrical experienceStrong knowledge of NEC and residential electrical systemsAbility to work independently and manage job sitesProficient with electrical tools, testing equipment, and troubleshooting methodsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordPhysical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 50 lbsComfortable working at heights, in crawl spaces, and confined areasAbility to stand, bend, kneel, and climb for extended periods
