Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Family Law Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for family law and a commitment to serving our clients through complex legal matters related to marriage, divorce, child custody, and other family-related issues. The attorney will be responsible for providing legal counsel, representing clients in court, and negotiating settlements to achieve the best outcomes for families.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice and representation to clients in family law matters including divorce, child custody, and child support cases.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, such as petitions, motions, and settlement agreements.
• Represent clients in court hearings and trials, advocating for their best interests.
• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients to resolve disputes amicably.
• Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in family law and relevant case law.
• Attend mediations and other legal proceedings as necessary to advocate for clients.
• Maintain thorough documentation and case files for all clients under representation.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Valid state bar license to practice law.
• Proven experience in family law, including litigation and trial experience.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to reach favorable dispositions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to empathize with clients and provide compassionate counsel.
• Knowledge of matrimonial law and family law statutes.
