Summer Lifeguard Job Summary The lifeguard is responsible for the safety and general welfare of swimmers at the Curry College pool. General Duties Preventing incidents by enforcing pool rules and responding to emergencies. Conducting chemical tests of pool water. Vacuuming and cleaning the pool. Completing daily report forms. Ensuring safe and clean facilities. Job Requirements Licenses or Certifications American Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR Training. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of one year lifeguard experience. CPR certification. First Aid certification. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Basic Knowledge and Skills Follow college policies and procedures. Ability to stand, sit, and walk for extended periods. Ability to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. Hourly Rate $22.00 per hour.
