Senior Financial AnalystGeorgia-Pacific LLC is seeking an experienced Financial Analysis Talent to join our Gypsum Operations Finance team, supporting our manufacturing facilities in WY and OK. This critical role will focus on providing strategic financial leadership and analysis to drive operational improvements and support strategic decision-making. You will partner with manufacturing operations and site leaders to close gaps, create value, and transform operations through actionable insights and strategic planning. To effectively respond to business needs and establish working relationships – you will work onsite from ATL or OK - and monthly travel to supported sites will be expected. Success in this role involves building trusted business partner relationships, leveraging analytical skills, and challenging processes to drive value and innovation.What You Will Do:Collaborate with manufacturing and larger finance team to develop insights into cost drivers and align on manufacturing prioritiesPartner with manufacturing leadership to identify performance drivers, creating and executing work plans to drive improvementDevelop cost optimization plans that enhance production and spending efficiency metricsSupport operations bet tracking and performance analysis to identify improvement opportunitiesOwn the financial planning, management reporting, and analytics for manufacturing siteAdvance economic thinking around capital and expense investments with manufacturing teamContribute to monthly forecasting, providing insights into financial performance, variances, and opportunitiesCreate leadership and ad-hoc business presentations to support strategic initiativesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to challenge the status quo and propose innovative solutionsDevelop in-depth manufacturing knowledge of the Gypsum Division as well as external competitors to promote benchmarking efforts and opportunitiesUphold and promote the Principles-Based Management® culture by reinforcing the company's Core Values and PrinciplesWho You Are (Basic Requirements):Experienced in financial analysis, accounting, operations finance, or related roles, with a strong grasp of financial concepts and economic principlesStrategic thinker with a proactive approach to identifying and solving operational challenges, driving continuous improvementTransformation-focused, with the ability to adapt and prioritize in a dynamic environment, embracing change and process improvementProficient in sourcing and analyzing large volumes of data, developing informed perspectives and solutionsEffective communicator, capable of presenting complex financial concepts to diverse audiences and engaging stakeholdersWhat Will Put You Ahead:Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Accounting or StrategyFinance experience within a manufacturing settingGypsum Manufacturing KnowledgeAdvanced proficiency in MS Excel, including financial modeling and data visualizationExperience with data analysis/visualization tools, such as Power BI, Tableau, and ERP systems like SAPDemonstrated ability to lead strategic initiatives and drive transformation within manufacturing operations
