This role emphasizes teamwork, community involvement, and a commitment to diversity and inclusion, ensuring that every patient receives remarkable care in every interaction.What You'll Be Doing:Coordinate and assist providers in delivering healthcare services.Assist providers during exams and proceduresTake vital signs, obtain medical historiesAssist with patient form request ie FMLA or other needed forms.Prepare patients and exam rooms for treatmentEnsure safe, quality, and cost-effective care for patients.Foster a safe patient environment driven by the principles of "First Do No Harm."Engage in teamwork and community involvement to enhance patient care.What We're Looking For:Education: High School Diploma or GED required.Medical Assistant Program: Graduate from an accredited program including pharmacology and medication administration.Certification: Current certification as CMA, RMA, or CCMA, or ability to obtain within 6 months of hire.Experience: Previous work in a Medical Office is preferred but not required.Skills: Ability to successfully complete skills validation and competency testing.Language: Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.Benefits:At Novant Health, we believe taking care of our team is just as important as taking care of our patients.
