Senior Manufacturing Engineer - Onsite

Medtronic

Medtronic seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer to develop and optimize manufacturing processes for ENT surgical devices in a regulated environment. The role encompasses process validation, equipment qualification, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance, based in Jacksonville, Florida with 4 days/week onsite.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes, equipment, and workflow layouts for safety and efficiency
Lead process validation, equipment qualification, and manufacturing readiness for product changes
Analyze manufacturing performance data and implement corrective and preventive actions
Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions and SOPs
Partner with Quality, Operations, and R&D on product transfers, design changes, and continuous improvement

Requirements

Bachelor's degree with 4+ years manufacturing engineering experience, or Master's with 2+ years, or PhD
Experience developing and sustaining manufacturing processes in regulated production environments
Experience with process validation, equipment qualification, or manufacturing process development
Experience analyzing process performance data and implementing corrective actions
Preferred: statistical process control and process capability analysis experience
Preferred: medical device manufacturing background
Preferred: Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodology experience
