Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health

Location: Denver, CO

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shift, 19:00 - 07:00

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Behavioral Health team. The RN will work in a 96-bed hospital across four units, providing care to a diverse patient population, including adolescents and adults.

Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care to patients in a behavioral health setting.
• Utilize de-escalation skills to manage complex patient situations.
• Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to develop patient care plans.
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment.
• Assist with assessments and evaluations as needed.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active RN license in the state of Colorado.
• Experience in behavioral health or related fields is preferred.
• Knowledge of CIWA and COWS assessments is a plus.
• Must be able to float to all units as required.
