Senior Tax Associate

They want someone who wants a seat at the table. You’ll inherit a strong client base built almost entirely through referrals. No sales targets. No chasing work. Just long standing client relationships and the chance to become a trusted advisor. The workload is varied too. You’ll work across 1040s, trusts and estates, and small business clients ranging from around $300k to $14m in revenue across a broad mix of industries. Trusts and estates are a real growth area, so if that’s an interest of yours, you’ll have every opportunity to develop that expertise. The firm has built its reputation on long term relationships and practical advice that helps clients make confident financial decisions year round. The team is established and stable. 2 Partners, experienced accountants, CPAs, an EA, admin support, a remote bookkeeper and an outsourced preparation team. They aren’t looking to build layers of juniors. They’re looking for someone who can take ownership, review work, mentor people and manage client relationships from start to finish. Technology isn’t an afterthought either. They’ve been embracing AI tools for the last 4 tax seasons, alongside outsourced preparation, so the focus is on spending your time where you add the most value. Hours are sensible by public accounting standards. Around 55 hours during tax season, with workloads managed across the year to keep annual hours at no more than 2,080.
