Maintenance Porter - Residential Community
Join Our Team!
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Maintenance Porter to join our team at a luxury residential community. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and guests.
Responsibilities- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of all common areas, including hallways, lobbies, stairwells, fitness centers, clubhouses, and leasing offices.
- Keep building entrances, sidewalks, parking lots, and grounds clean and free of debris.
- Assist with trash and recycling collection and ensure dumpsters and compactor areas remain clean and organized.
- Perform light maintenance tasks, including changing light bulbs, replacing air filters, painting touch-ups, and minor repairs.
- Assist the maintenance team with apartment turnovers and general property upkeep.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or property damage to the Maintenance Supervisor promptly.
- Assist with snow removal, salting, and other seasonal property maintenance as needed.
- Deliver excellent customer service by interacting professionally and courteously with residents and vendors.
- Previous porter, janitorial, groundskeeping, or maintenance experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong work ethic with attention to detail.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds, bending, climbing stairs, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable transportation and excellent attendance.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license preferred.
