CT Technologist (Full-Time Evening)

Job Title: CT Technologist Location: Monmouth Medical Center Department Name: Cat Scan Req #: Status: Hourly Shift: Evening Pay Range: $47.67 - $56.74 per hour Pay Transparency: The above reflects the anticipated hourly wage range for this position if hired to work in New Jersey. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate‘s educational background, skills and professional experience. Job Overview: Provide patient services using diagnostic CT scan equipment. The technologist is competent in the production of quality images to be used by physicians for patient diagnosis and treatment. In addition, the individuals must be prepared to render quality care by exercising discretion and good judgment. Qualifications: Required: Graduate of an approved school of Radiologic Technology NJ Radiology license ARRT Certification BLS through the American Heart Association Previous CT experience Preferred: CT Certification Scheduling Requirements: Evening Shift 3pm-11:30pm Tuesday to Friday Essential Functions: Assist radiologist with special examinations Demonstrate competency with the use of RIS and PACS Employ professional judgment and discretion while performing all imaging procedures Maintain clean examination rooms and work environments in all areas Maintain proper maintenance of CR cassettes, report cassettes needing repair Maintain stock levels in all procedure rooms Perform daily calibration and quality assurance checks as requested Report all equipment problems to the supervisor and enter an LT work order as appropriate Use RadCode for interventional billing related to the section specific procedures Utilize principles of radiation protection for self and patients for every examination Utilize proper positioning and technical factors to assure diagnostic quality images for interpretation Choosing RWJBarnabas Health!
