Laundry Aide

Full-Time Laundry Aide – Split Shifts Greenway Health and Rehab Grand Bay, Alabama Greenway Health and Rehab is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Aide to join our team in Grand Bay, Alabama. Our laundry team plays a vital role in ensuring our residents have clean, fresh, and properly maintained linens and clothing. Responsibilities Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute resident clothing, linens, towels, and other facility laundry Properly label and organize resident clothing and personal items Operate commercial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely Follow proper procedures for handling soiled and contaminated laundry Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area Monitor laundry supplies and notify management when supplies are needed Follow infection control, safety, and facility procedures Assist with delivering clean laundry to resident rooms and appropriate areas Report damaged equipment, lost items, or other concerns to management Work collaboratively with nursing and facility staff to support resident comfort and satisfaction Qualifications Previous laundry, housekeeping, environmental services, healthcare, nursing home, hotel, or hospitality experience preferred Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Reliable attendance and positive attitude Ability to work a split-shift schedule Ability to lift, bend, stand, walk, and handle laundry for extended periods Ability to follow infection control and safety procedures High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required Why Join Greenway Health and Rehab?
