New Home Consultant Summary The New Home Consultant’s primary focus is to administer and coordinate the new home purchase process and close of escrow. The goal is to create satisfied, delighted and happy customers. Sellers will sell, process and close homes as per the company business plans, adhering to the selling philosophy while serving home buyers and realtor customers. Other Duties and Responsibilities Provide timely and consistent follow-through with customers from initial contact to after closing. Travel throughout the local community to self‑generate sales from realtor/co‑broker businesses, referrals and self‑prospecting. Develop in‑depth knowledge of the competitive marketplace (product, site, community, sales, advertising, demographics). Monitor and record daily customer traffic using tracking tools. Participate in homeowner orientations required by the division and work with customers on builder option purchases where applicable. Qualifications High school diploma or GED; some college preferred. Recent face‑to‑face sales and customer service experience strongly preferred. Valid driver’s license, insurance coverage and good driving record. Available to work weekends and holidays as needed. Ability to prepare written documentation and complete contract calculations. Computer literacy, proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel. Working knowledge of new technology such as iPads. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
