Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An outpatient pharmacy located near a medical facility in Bridgeport, West Virginia, is seeking a full-time pharmacist to support its retail pharmacy operations. This position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity with a consistent Monday through Friday schedule from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Location: Bridgeport, West Virginia (approximately 1 hour from Fairmont, WV)
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday
- 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Verify prescriptions accurately and ensure patient safety
- Provide thorough counseling and education to patients regarding medications
- Support daily retail and outpatient pharmacy functions
- Maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws, regulations, and internal policies
Qualifications:
- Active pharmacist license in West Virginia, in good standing
- Experience in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings preferred
- Strong communication skills and dedication to patient care
- Commitment to pursue a permanent role beyond the contract phase
