Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as an LMFT, you will:

  • Conduct individual, couple, and family therapy sessions, both in-person and via telemedicine.
  • \n
  • Assess client needs, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions.
  • \n
  • Specialize in various issues, including but not limited to grief, family conflicts, abuse situations, job stress, and marital challenges.
  • \n
  • Facilitate effective communication within families and among individuals to resolve conflicts and promote healing.
  • \n
  • Document all sessions and maintain accurate, up-to-date records in compliance with HIPAA and organizational policies.
  • \n
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
  • \n
Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your expertise will cater to a diverse clientele, covering a broad spectrum of issues including:

  • Marital and relational difficulties, including separation and divorce adjustments.
  • \n
  • Challenges faced by blended families, such as remarriage and step-parenting.
  • \n
  • Individual issues such as grief and loss, job-related stressors, and psychological abuse.
  • \n
  • Enhancing communication skills among family members to overcome conflicts.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.
  • \n
  • An active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
