As an employer, we seek to provide an environment of growth and development for our employees that is consistent with recognizing the rights, needs, and wants of all people.Purpose:To oversee the administration and coordination of medical services for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities to enable them to maintain optimal health and wellbeing.Qualifications:Must successfully complete the required pre-employment Background and Drug ScreeningsMust possess a valid Driver's License which meets company standards for approved driver statusMust possess a current and valid Registered Nurse licenseMust possess strong clinical skills with at least 3 year supervisory experienceMust possess basic computer skillsExperience working with people with intellectual/developmental disabilities is preferredEssential Functions:Coordinates and oversees health services according to the individual’s plan ensuring each individual’s optimal health and wellbeingSupervises nurses and CNAs and provides constructive feedback and training through positive interactions, role modeling, and mentoringCreates a positive interacting team which collaboratively works with all disciplinesEnsures all documentation is completed according to regulatory requirementsActs as liaison between hospitals and other medical professionals advocating for least restrictive measures and protection of rightsPerforms all professional duties within the scope of licensure and in accordance with the Nurse Practice ActProficiency in the English language (both written and verbal) is required as this job entails direct care of adults and children receiving services. Employees are required to communicate, both orally and in writing, with staff and others regarding medical care, supports, and services.
