Key Responsibilities

Dispense medications and carry out physician and psychiatrist orders.

Monitor medication compliance and maintain medical records/charts.

Conduct physical health screenings for children.

Schedule and coordinate medical appointments and outside services.

Review progress notes and follow-up care documentation.

Support infection control activities and order medical supplies.

Assist with crisis intervention and recreational activities.

Participate in behavior management programs.

Transport residents when assigned.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree preferred.

Current New York State LPN license is required.

Experience working with the program's population (children/youth) preferred.

Must pass background checks and fingerprinting.

Travel Required

Yes. Yes, 25% of the time.

Education

High School or better.
