Wage: $17.10/hour

Status: Full Time

Are you ready to make a lasting impact? As a Youth Specialist with Samaritas , you’ll provide direct supervision and support to refugee youth in a residential setting—helping them feel safe, valued, and empowered to thrive.

What You’ll Do:

• Create a family-like environment that models' positive behaviors and expectations.
• Assist youth with daily routines—meal prep, medication administration, skill-building, and activities.
• Provide safe transportation to appointments and monitor overnight activity.
• Be a trusted mentor and advocate for youth navigating trauma, displacement, and cultural adjustment.

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to learn de-escalation techniques and become CPR/First Aid certified.
• Direct care experience in mental health or working with vulnerable populations preferred.
• Bi-lingual in Spanish strongly preferred.
• Must be 21 years or older , have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and meet vaccine requirements.
