Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A per diem pharmacist opportunity is available to provide vacation coverage at a busy community pharmacy operating Monday through Friday. The role requires working from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with the pharmacy remaining open throughout the day without a lunch closure. Coverage is specifically needed on August 10-14, September 14-18, and November 25.

Responsibilities include managing a high volume of prescriptions, ensuring accurate data entry and verification for over 200 prescriptions daily. Duties also involve answering phones, product verification, and overseeing the receipt and signing of controlled and narcotic medication deliveries. The pharmacy utilizes PioneerRx software to support workflow and record-keeping. The pharmacist will work alongside three full-time pharmacy technicians.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current, clear, and active Ohio pharmacist license
• Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy experience
• Proficiency with PioneerRx system preferred or ability to quickly adapt
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and patient safety
• Effective communication skills for phone and team collaboration
