We're working with a top-tier financial institution looking to bring in a hands-on, inquisitive Front Office Trading Analyst on a 6-month contract. This role sits within the First Line Risk team , partnering directly with traders, desk leads, and control teams to deep-dive into systems, processes, and controls. What You'll Be Doing: Engaging with traders across Rates, FX, and Equities to unpack trading workflows and understand intraday risk management Gathering granular detail on systems and control environments, and identifying gaps or inconsistencies Documenting and enhancing the Process Risk and Control (PRC) inventory with a front-to-back view of risk Mapping out key risk tools, system dependencies, and supervision/resiliency practices across desks Supporting the wider Operational Risk and COO functions in shaping a clear, cross-product view of front office risk We're Looking For Someone Who: Has hands-on experience in front office trading environments (think Trading Assistant, Front Office Risk, or strong BA with trading desk exposure) Knows the trade lifecycle and can confidently navigate systems like Fidessa, T-Bricks , or equivalent trading/risk platforms Is naturally curious and asks the right questions to dig beneath the surface Brings excellent communication skills and stakeholder engagement—you’ll be talking to traders daily Can interpret, assess, and document control environments in a clear and concise way This is a fantastic opportunity to join a global and continually growing company.
