About the Position

Job Title: Registered Sleep Tech Profession: Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialty: Polysomnographer / Sleep Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: 2+ years License: State Certification Required Certifications: BLS, RPSGT Must-Have: First-time travelers accepted Weekend availability required Description: Position requires a Registered Sleep Tech. Shift hours are from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM, 3 shifts per week. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. Weekend shifts may be required occasionally. Certification in BLS and RPSGT is required. Experience with various sleep technologies and equipment is essential. Skills needed include End-Tidal CO2 monitoring and Adult Multiple Sleep Latency Test. Familiarity with EPIC charting system is necessary. Knowledge in managing complex sleep disorders is expected. Candidates should be comfortable providing patient education and monitoring respiratory events. This position does not require on-call responsibilities. Travelers are not required to float between service lines. Staffed beds in the unit total 12. Orientation includes 20 hours of training which is non-billable.
