We seek an Oncology Account Manager to build and maintain strong professional relationships with key customers and stakeholders in private practice, medical groups, hospitals, and ancillary staff involved in the care of cancer patients. The Oncology Account Manager is a clinical and business leader who represents the values of Genmab by providing approved disease and product information and resources to key decision makers within their assigned territory. The assigned territory for this role encompasses Detroit, Flint, and Royal Oak, MI. Candidates must live within commuting distance of their assigned territory. Responsibilities Effectively support Genmab's Oncology portfolio in the U.S. marketplace. Meet or exceed assigned sales goals by positioning the benefits and use of Genmab's products for appropriate patients. Manage time efficiently, focusing on engagements that drive brand value. Develop and implement robust territory business plans centered on performance. Work flexibly between virtual and in-person engagements and account communication preferences. Analyze key market data points and convert insights into effective business planning. Build strong, long-term relationships with customers, continually challenging them with value-based solutions. Represent Genmab's brands professionally, compliantly, and ethically. Demonstrate a thorough understanding of disease states, Genmab's brands, and competitive products. Show proficiency with the reimbursement environment and fulfillment pathways for injectable medications. Exhibit highly effective territory management and superior selling competencies. Creatively gain access to customers in the modern landscape. Foster team effectiveness and shared goal accomplishments by sharing knowledge and information. Manage territory resources and budget effectively. Comply with all laws, regulations, and Genmab U.S. policies. Requirements Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution. 4+ years of experience in sales, marketing, or clinical roles within pharmaceutical, biotech, rare disease, or patient‑care sectors. 4+ years of proven success in Oncology sales and/or account management (Senior Oncology Account Manager consideration). Oncology launch experience preferred. Strong account‑management capabilities, superior selling competencies, and a record of meeting or exceeding goals. Business analytics skills to understand and analyze business and market drivers, develop, execute, and adjust territory plans. Adept at building and maintaining professional relationships with key customers and network contacts. Effective teamwork within matrix environments. Self‑motivation and a track record of performance enhancement. Proficiency with MS Office, Veeva, and related applications. Flexibility to manage multiple tasks and strong attention to detail. Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills. Commitment to operating in alignment with industry laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
