Job Summary:
Respiratory Therapist (RT Pediatric - RT PEDS) in Canton, Ohio. This position involves providing comprehensive respiratory care to pediatric patients within a healthcare facility, including ventilatory support, chest physiotherapy, and patient education. The role requires adherence to facility policies and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in respiratory therapy, current licensure in Ohio, and at least one year of relevant experience. Additional qualifications include knowledge of pulmonary function testing, airway management, and emergency protocols.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with pediatric respiratory care and advanced airway procedures.
• Float: Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The Respiratory Therapist will evaluate and implement treatment plans, operate various ventilatory and respiratory equipment, assist with invasive and non-invasive procedures, and monitor patient responses. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, performing procedures such as suctioning and tracheostomy care, managing ventilatory equipment, and documenting all care provided. The role demands effective communication with physicians and team members and strict adherence to safety and quality standards.
