Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Emergency Department care for a travel assignment in Ohio. This role involves working within a general observation unit with high patient turnover, often housing ED-to-admit patients. Nurses in this role provide critical monitoring and basic nursing care, assisting in the early detection of potential health issues.

Key responsibilities of the RN ED include:

• Continuously monitor vital signs and document updates
• Assess physical conditions and conduct physical exams
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Provide assistance with daily living activities
• Communicate effectively with healthcare team members
• Recognize and respond to emergencies
• Adhere to infection control policies and safety protocols
• Maintain accurate patient records

Requirements of the RN ED include:

• Current license by the Ohio State Board of Nursing
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years nursing experience
• Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
• Experience in a general medical-surgical or observation unit preferred
