Mechanical Engineer/Installation SupervisorWe are seeking a Mechanical Engineer/Installation Supervisor to join our Group Technology team! This position requires travel of 60%, both internationally and nationally, and the ability to relocate for extended time periods to project sites.**We are unable to provide sponsorship for this position.**Travel the world and contribute your solid understanding of practical site installation supervision as you work with a great team of talented engineers! Working with mainly design, installation, commissioning, and running-in of major projects, you'll ensure that all equipment within the factory is supplied where required.As expert and provider of design solutions, we look for your expertise:Take full responsibility for project execution with respect to installation, testing and commissioning.Ensure that the necessary expertise from other departments - environment, safety, MMR's, are included in solutionsCommunicate and supervise suppliers/contractors to place orders and follow up to ensure compliance with requirementsEnsure all documentation / reporting is done and archived following company directives and Group Technology rules, and available toolsEnsure that all site work is done safely and in accordance with best practice site safety.Substantial travel inside and outside of North America is to be expected for project execution, supplier visits, coordination, etc.What You BringDegree in Mechanical Engineering5+ years working in a similar position, with site installation, mechanical design, machine construction, design specifications experience required3D modelling using Inventor or a similar programAbility to travel both nationally and internationally 60% of the timeExtended periods of presence at project sites are required, ie. temporary relocationStrong communication skillsPreference given to candidates who have smith, mechanic or other type of craftsman expertiseWhat We OfferCompetitive Pay & Benefits from Day 1: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision plans.401K Match: Up to 6%Paid Time Off: Generous PTO, 12 paid holidays, and parental leave.Educational Assistance & Career Growth: Invest in your future.Wellness Perks: Fitness reimbursement and EAP access.Safety First: Company-provided PPE and programs to keep you protected.The base salary range for this position is $115,000.00 - 135,000.00.
