About the Position

We are seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician to join a well-established community hospital located just south of Boston, Massachusetts. Join a collaborative Emergency Department with experienced physicians, excellent specialty support, flexible scheduling, and outstanding earning potential.

Position Highlights:

• Compensation: $230/hour plus productivity and quality bonuses
• Annual Bonus: Up to $40,000
• Night Shift Differential: Additional $325 per shift
• Full-time: 15 shifts per month
• Primarily 8.5-hour shifts
• Flexible, physician-driven scheduling

Emergency Department:

• Approximately 60,000 annual visits
• 84 physician coverage hours and 36 APP coverage hours daily
• Two physicians on overnight coverage from 1:00 AM–7:00 AM
• Strong specialty support including Surgery, Anesthesia, Obstetrics, Neonatology, 24-hour Cardiac Cath Lab, and dedicated Hospitalist services

Responsibilities:

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a broad range of emergency conditions.
• Perform emergency procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with physicians, APPs, nursing, and specialists to provide exceptional patient care.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.

Qualifications:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine.
• Eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• ATLS required until Emergency Medicine board certification is obtained.
