Fountain Worker - Block 16 - The Cosmopolitan

THE JOB: As a Fountain Worker at Block 16 in The Cosmopolitan , you'll help set the tone for an unforgettable guest experience with your friendly smile and genuine service. By connecting with guests, understanding their stories and needs, and taking ownership of each interaction, you'll create "wow" moments they'll remember long after their visit. THE STARTING RATE: $16.2897 Hourly THE DAY-TO-DAY:- Take and place order, serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable.
- Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures.
- Maintain the cleanliness, sanitation, and the appearance of the front and back of house, clear tables and counters; sweep and maintain the cleanliness of the dining area without interfering with the comfort of guests.
- Pack and complete order as per guests' preference with any necessary condiments.
- Properly label and date products per safety and sanitation procedures.
- Perform opening and closing duties based upon shift assignment.
- Unload warehouse orders and stock the orders to designated storage maintaining organization, stock and replenish products as needed in workstation, counters, tables, etc.
- Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
- Perform other job-related duties as requested.
- High School Diploma or GED
- 21 years or older
- One (1) year of experience as a food handler in a similar, high-volume, fast paced restaurant preferred
- Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays
